Robert Bell
Bob Bell is head of the Northern California, Hawaii, and Incline Village, Nevada, offices. He has more than 30 years of insurance experience. He is a member of the Board of Directors. Bob joined Ringler Associates in 1982.
He entered the insurance field in 1970 with Connecticut General/ Aetna Insurance Company in New York City and Hartford. He held positions in New Jersey for three years, the home office in Hartford for three years, and then moved to San Francisco for four more years. During this time he was Administrative Manager, Marketing Coordinator, National Training Director, National Personnel Director, and Aetna-Cravens Dargen combined Financial Planning Manager.
He is a frequent speaker at industry meetings and has had articles published in magazines such as Business Insurance and Claims. In addition, Bob has served as an annuity expert in more than 50 trials involving tort cases. In this function, he explains the concept of present value, annuity and treasury trust products and illustrates how the premium required to purchase an annuity represents the present value of the stream of future payments.
Bob is a member of the National Association of Life Underwriters and the National Structured Settlements Trade Association. He is also a Registered Representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).
He earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Arizona (1967). Following two years of service as an officer in the U.S. Army, he returned to school, receiving his master of business administration cum laude in finance from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts (1970).
