Bradly R. Mathers



Brad is a Settlement Annuity Specialist in charge of the Dublin, Ohio office. He has over 20 years of claims and executive management experience in commercial property and casualty insurance including self-insured organizations. His structured settlement experience has focused in the area of healthcare professional liability.

His responsibilities include consulting with insurance carriers, self-insured claim professionals and defense attorneys to develop case resolution strategies that include a structured settlement. He conducts special needs and life care plan analyses, as well as educational programs on general claims and structured settlement subjects. He has testified as an expert witness on a variety of claims management issues, since 1985.

Prior to joining RINGLER ASSOCIATES, Brad was affiliated with a prominent settlement annuity firm. He also was associated with BRM Consulting, LLC in Dublin. He spent six years with OHIC Insurance Company, where he was Vice President of Claims. He also served as Director of Claims for MHA Insurance Company. Three years were spent at Mercy Health Services as Claims Manager, and another seven years at ARGONAUT as Claims Division Manager. Brad received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Wayne State University-Detroit and attended both Eastern Michigan University and Lawrence Technological University for graduate studies. He has life, health and variable annuities licenses.

He is a member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association, the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management, and the Hospital Insurance Forum.
