Carmella brings to Ringler more than 20 years of experience in structured settlements, much of it in complex cases involving multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant litigation, in addition to the more common two-party case.
During her time at Ringler, Carmella has become a member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee, and Vice Chairman of the NSSTA PAC Board. Carmella has received the Chairman of the Board Award for her services in 2009. She has attended over a thousand mediations and has used her creativity to help formulate settlements using structures as a foundation.
Carmella teaches training sessions and seminars to clients to help them utilize structured settlements in the settling of their cases. She also trains on mediation techniques, damage analysis, life care plans and economist report pricing, as well as new and cutting-edge developments in the industry. She has lectured in many forums including The New York City Bar Association and has been a featured panelist at the Council for Litigation Management Annual Meeting in 2011. Carmella holds life and health insurance licenses throughout the United States.
