Derek joined the structured settlement industry after an extensive career in Finance as a former CPA and having held a management position at Protiviti’s Credit Risk Management practice. His success in settlement services is directly attributed to his financial background that helps to bring credibility to the table. Having most recently worked for Structured Financial Associates, Derek’s expertise in working with insurance carriers, self-insured individuals and plaintiff attorneys, helps him settle claims with the claimants’ future financial needs in mind.
Derek lives outside of Chicago with his wife Angie. They have two children, Wesley and Everett.
