Thomas is currently engaged as a consultant with the Executive Management Board and the President of Field Operations of QBE North America to improve distribution and create a culture of sales excellence. This includes guidance on distribution strategy, the development of a value proposition, organizational alignment and marketing and advertising. QBE is an international provider of insurance products and services.

Before his position at QBE, Thomas was the President at USI Insurance Services from 2009 to 2011. From 1982 to 2009, Thomas worked at Liberty Mutual, eventually becoming the Executive Vice President of Field Operations, National Accounts.

Thomas graduated from Colby College with his B.S. in Administrative Science and did post graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford University.
