Bill has lectured nationally on Medicare Set-Asides to bar associations, claims associations and individual clients. He has used innovative ideas and products such as Medicare Set-Aside Agreements, Pooled Trusts, Custodial Accounts and Special Needs Trusts to assist his clients in bringing difficult claims to a conclusion. Bill is a member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) and holds licenses in 25 different states. He has resolved claims with the use of structured settlements in 31 different states.
Bill is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, he worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for 18 years in positions throughout the country. He has held claims positions of adjuster, supervisor, home office examiner and director of technical claims.
In 1995, Bill joined Sedgwick James as a claim consultant spending most of his time on site with Bank of America’s risk management department providing consulting services to the legal and risk management departments. He also provided oversight consulting services to the general liability TPA programs of Bank of America. In 1997, Bill joined Galaher Settlements as an assistant vice president and has provided structured settlement services to national and local clients.
In January 2017, Bill joined Ringler through Ringler’s acquisition of Galaher Settlements.
Bill resides in the Sacramento, CA area. He is an avid golfer and likes to spend time at the gym. Bill also enjoys the beach as well as the desert.
