ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The Board of Directors at Ringler Associates, the largest structured settlement company in the nation, has named Ross Duncan as the next Chairman of the Board. Mr. Duncan has 30 years of experience in the industry, joining Ringler Associates in 1984. He has also served on the Ringler Board of Directors since 2003.
His prior professional experience includes a claims background with the Insurance Company of North America and CIGNA. Mr. Duncan and his staff in Pennsylvania were awarded the 2010 Gold Medal for Structured Settlement services to the legal community by the Legal Intelligencer, the oldest law journal in the United States.
In accepting the election as Chairman of the Board at Ringler Associates, Mr. Duncan said, “I was honored when asked by the Board of Directors of Ringler Associates to assume the Chairmanship of the company. It brought to mind a quote from Vince Lombardi: ‘Individual commitment to a group effort- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.’ I believe it is that commitment on behalf of every person within our organization that will enable Ringler to be innovative in assisting ALL parties in the resolution of cases, maintain our integrity and standing within the industry, and continue to produce the quality product for which the Ringler name has become known.”
Mr. Duncan will succeed current Chairman, Michael Casey in January 2012. Mr. Casey recognized the leadership and vision of the Board’s choice in Ross Duncan saying, “Ross Duncan reflects our dedication to the needs of injured parties in structured settlements and represents our integrity within the industry. Our company is fortunate to have him to lead us forward.”
Robert Blattenberg, CEO and member of the Board of Ringler Associates, noted the election of Ross Duncan as the right person at the right time saying, “Our strength as a national company with a focus on the local customer is what makes Ringler Associates unique and Ross Duncan, as Chairman, is a continued commitment to our core values as a company.”
