With over 10 years of experience in the structured settlement industry, Simon works with both plaintiffs and defendants to assist in the resolution of personal injury, medical malpractice, employment, and disability claims. He has become an invaluable resource to all parties at mediation and is an expert in the calculations required by New York’s law governing neurologically impaired infants under the Medical Indemnity Fund. He also has expertise in Periodic Judgement analyses, particularly under NY CPLR Articles 50-A and 50-B.
Simon has worked with hundreds of plaintiffs designing structured settlement illustrations that best fit their future needs. He specializes in maximizing plaintiffs’ future payouts while also maintaining their government benefits. In addition, he is the author of several articles on the vulnerability of plaintiffs who receive large settlement sums in turbulent economies.
After working with another structured settlement company for 10 years, Simon joined Ringler in December 2016.
