New and re-elected members to the Board of Directors and Executive Promotions
Aliso Viejo, California, February 3, 2016 – Ringler Associates Incorporated, the nation’s largest structured settlement company, announces important organizational promotions for 2016 as well as additions and reelections to its Board of Directors.
Effective immediately, shareholders at the Ringler Associates Annual Meeting on January 29, 2016 re-elected Brian M. Farrell, of Meriden, Connecticut to another term on the Board of Directors and the Board voted that Mr. Farrell shall become Vice Chairman of Ringler Associates, a newly created position in the company. Chairman W. Ross Duncan says the new position is part of the company’s continued strengthening of its succession planning and, “Brian has been in the structured settlement business since 2002, joining Ringler Associates in 2009 with expertise that has made him a natural leader for years to come.”
Thomas R. Rudder, of Long Beach, California has been elected to the Board of Directors – one of two outside members, who bring their professional expertise and perspective to help guide the company. Mr. Rudder is a consultant in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry and previously served as Executive Vice President at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and USI, a national brokerage firm. Geoffrey E. Hunt, President and CEO of Ringler Associates says, “Tom is one of the most talented, innovative and professional insurance executives in the country and we’re thrilled to have him join as a new member of the Ringler Associates Board of Directors.”
Along with Messrs. Farrell and Rudder, D. Scott Hoover, of Winter Park, Florida has been reelected to the board. Mr. Hoover has served on the board since 2004. In his 25 years with Ringler he has served in management capacities and he has won Rookie of the Year, Producer of the Year Award and the Chairman’s Award.
In addition, Ringler Associates is excited to announce that Duke T. Wolpert has been promoted to Senior Vice President and National Marketing Director, reporting to Geoffrey E. Hunt, CEO and President. Mr. Wolpert joined Ringler Associates in 2012 with expertise in business development and he has successfully managed the company’s expansion within life markets and business partnerships. Geoff Hunt, Ringler’s President and CEO says, “I join Jim Early, Executive Vice President and National Sales Director, in applauding Duke for his many contributions to our company’s success and we look forward to Duke joining the executive management team and working even closer with our board as we expand our business.”
